Before it was known that the show was cancelled, plans were already in place to make a full length feature of The Munsters. It was Munster Go Home. It had all the original cast except for Pat Priest. She was not asked because the producers said she was too old. How could she get old in 1 day? Filming started right after the last episode of The Munsters. Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis went to the producers to get Pat in the movie but were not sucessful. It was Universals' idea to put Debbie Watson in the Marilyn role because she was a contract actress with the studio. It was hard to accept her because the rest of the original cast was there. Not to be mean but nobody remembers her now but we all still remember Pat Priest and Beverly Owen.
